What the R36 Ultra actually is
The R36 Ultra shares the 4.0-inch 720×720 tempered-glass display with the Max, but adds the one feature nothing else in this family offers: WiFi, and with it networked multiplayer on the emulators that support it.
If you have ever wanted to play a two-player fighting or racing classic against someone who is not sitting next to you, this is the only model in the line-up that does it without extra hardware.
The trade-off is battery: 3000 mAh against the Max's 4000 mAh. If multiplayer is not something you will use, the Max is the better buy.
